Red cabbage can be cultivated first at indoor 4 weeks before the last frost and then transplant in a container or garden while the spring is still cool.
The Cabbage Seeds quickly form small, tidy 2-4 lb heads of cabbage. They're great for small spaces (urban living!) and each head can be used up in a meal or two for limited waste. A great fresh variety for short seasons and cool climates; not for long term storage.
Our cabbage is a hardy biennial grown as an annual. It performs best in cool conditions.
